I did my meal plan yesterday & committed it to the white board in the kitchen. There are a few new dishes in there that we plan to do this week, so we’ll blog any that are good.
Monday – meatballs, Buddy said he wanted meatballs so I’ll make his with a mild sauce and I’ll spice it up and add to slow cooker for our dinner
Tuesday – slow cooked veggie haggis, we never got round to it last week
Wednesday – spaghetti bolognese, might give it a whirl in the slow cooker but not sure yet!
Thursday – hake & chorizo. This is a slow cooker recipe that I found over at Mediocre Mum’s blog but with haddock. I’ve got hake so thought I’d try that instead
Friday – slow cooked chicken curry. This time I’m make tandoori chicken and just popping it in at the last minute. The sauce that we did last week in the slow cooker was amazing!
Saturday – slow cooked gammon – I saw some ladies talking about this over on Netmums so thought I’d give it a go.
Now you see I am going to be using the slow cooker every day this week so I need to investigate what is on the menu for Sunday. I’ll post it when I find something suitable.
