Wow it’s nearly the end of August! How did that happen? I can’t quite believe it! Here at Chez Dunlop we are trying to get healthy, I have put together a nice meal plan that has dinners that are super tasty but good for us. As always, I’m going to fill in my Meal Planner. This is what we are eating this week for our meal plan.

Monday – We tried Jamie Oliver’s lamb kofta recipe last week, so it’s left overs in homemade flatbreads this week. It is super tasty

Tuesday – Baked potatoes with hot chilli con carne (I batch cooked the chilli a couple of weeks ago)

WednesdayRagu – We all love Ragu and have it once a week

Thursday – Mushroom pasta – This is a great simple easy recipe to do and we have it a lot. It’s onion, creme fraiche, mushrooms, proscuto and pasta.

FridaySquid & Feta Salad – This is from Sophe Wright’s book home at 7, dinner at 8

Saturday – Chicken flatbreads – Now that I have made my own flatbreads, we are going to do this on Saturday and have a Maggi garlic chicken in a bag – It’s super tasty with salad and we’ll have polenta chips on the side.

Sunday – We are going to have a roast chicken with yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes.

    Oooh I want dinner at your house! The lamb koftas sound lovely but wow the squid and feta salad wins! I wish it wasn’t just me that liked squid. But I could make a small one just for me! Thank you for sharing with #mealplanningmonday x

      Thanks, I had posted about the recipe before, but it was lost when I was hacked – I’m working on it now for later in the week. The lamb koftas are fab as are the flatbreads – This will be live next week.
