Monster Island

Last week the boys got a preview copy of Monster Island on DVD – they were super excited when it arrived and immediately got to work on a video for you.

I have to say from the moment the film went on, there was silence.  We made the living room into a cinema room with the black out blinds down and popcorn on their knees. They really enjoyed watching it.

Buddy said “It was really good, the best bit was when Lucas changes into a monster for the first time.”

Bubbles said “It was good, but I need to watch it again to tell you the best bit!”

The story is all about a little boy called Lucas who find out he is not really a human. Ultimately Lucas learns that being a freak isn’t freaky – it means you’re a member of a brand new type of family you can proudly call your own.

They both thoroughly enjoyed this movie and we’ll add to our collection for our cinema Sunday’s that we are starting to give the boys some chill out time at the weekend and family time too – I think it’s important to have these special moments with your children, they grow up way too fast.

Monster Island is out now on Digital HD, VOD and DVD. Order it now

Dislcaimer: We were sent this DVD for the purposes of this review – All opinions are our own.
