We were recently invited to the launch of Scrambles, the soft play at Edinburgh International Climbing Arena in Ratho. Now my boys are 9 and 6 and I’ve got to be honest, it’s been a while since we’ve been to a soft play. For no other reason than Buddy (9) feels he’s a bit old and when we do activities it is better if they can both take part. But we asked him to go along for the review.
The soft play is split into three areas, baby, toddler and junior. This is the a picture of the baby area – which has a low soft wall around it to contain them a little.
Well, what can I say, the boys had a ball. Armed with their brief as to what they were to check out for the review, thinking about ages that they think it would be good for. They had a great time and seriously Buddy said he had a great time.
When looking for a way to get the children to let off some steam, sometimes something like this is just the ticket. They are asking to go back again this weekend. So we’ll be there if you’d like to join us.
The cafe was all done up too, so hubster really enjoyed his cup of coffee and cake while he waited. Whenever we go to things like this, the two things I like, is a good quality coffee and free wifi so that I can catch up on the blog 😉
