I know I have been off the radar for a while, there are too many reasons for this that I won’t go into but back on this journey and I have been, for the past 10 weeks working on building in fitness to my busy schedule. I’m not going to pretend it’s been easy, I’ve had to drag myself out running at times, but I am proud of what I am achieving and wanted to share with others who think they are too busy or ‘I couldn’t run the length of me’ to show that actually you can do it and I hope my journey helps you.

Fitness Friday

So I have now completed 71.4km and run/walked for over 10 hours, if you don’t believe me, see my stats below. This hasn’t been easy and I’ve had days where I have felt so bad, but one of my biggest thing is one of the lovely ladies in our estate started a closed group on Facebook that we can all put up when we are planning to run and then we encourage each other to get out there.

I have found this group absolutely key to me getting out there and motivated to get running. I have lost weight too and feeling a lot fitter, I can now run for 25 minutes with a few tiny breathers when crossing roads, etc that just help me to catch up with myself. I am loving getting out there and long may it continue.

This is the app that I have been using, please look for it on the app store of GooglePlay – there are lots out there, but I like that on this one you can choose your trainer from the nice talking female, to the drill seargent to unicorn party. I’m loving it!
