Where is the time going, here I am up at 5.30am doing some freelance work that came in the back end of last week and boom, it’s still pitch black outside – I can’t believe the change in the weather this week, it’s got colder and the trees are starting to turn. Oh, it must be my birthday week 🙂 We have the meal planner all filled out and on the white board so that everyone knows what we are having. Here are the dinners that have made the meal plan for this week:

Monday – Salmon Wellington – Grim thought this looked nice when we, as a family did the Aldi challenge to see if we could save money on our shop – well yes we probably would have, had the entire family not fill my trolley full of new treats they hadn’t seen before.  So we did a fortnight’s shop instead of a week’s, but yes it was way cheaper!!

Tuesday – Chicken wraps with Salad – I got some new tandoori powder that I want to try out – so I just mix that with natural yoghurt a squeeze of lemon juice and marinade for about half an hour before grilling it – So easy and tasty.

Wednesday – Baked salmon with glazed brocolli – This again seems to have become a staple, very easy dinner just baked in the oven, but the brocolli, well that is glazed in blasamic vinegar, oil & english mustard – very tasty find this one!

ThursdayRagu – We all love this, so we’ll be having it again this week.

Friday –  We’re out for dinner as it’s my birthday on Thursday, so looking forward to some tasty foor at The Sun Inn.

I’ve got to be honest, I have no idea what we are having at the weekend – I’ll let the boys choose on Saturday as Grim is out at a gig and then Sunday, I’m angling for a nice roast for us all to enjoy – let’s see if I can convince the family 🙂
